The weather may seem to indicate the contrary, but I promise you, the season of spring is upon us!  It’s a good time of year to reflect how easy it is to bring in some fresh elements to your home interior.  Not everyone has a compatible color palette for what may be considered the “go-to” pastels of the season.  I know I don’t, but with a little creativity you can work with pieces you have collected and love to tell a fresh spring story.

Nothing can spur a case of spring fever quite like the month of March. With warmer days and the appearance of wildlife returning from their travels, a revival of life begins to stir, replacing the slumber of winter with a buzz of activity and all the joy that spring can bring.

The need for feeling connected with the outdoors draws on us with enchantment; bringing inspirational ideas into the creative process, while encouraging us to become a part of the bustle!

In my opinion, there is no designer more inspiring than Mother Nature.  As an avid gardener, I’m constantly reminded of the vivid colors, textures, and patterns when I begin to see the buds forming on trees and as the foliage and flowers burst into their full splendor.  It’s the time of year when I begin to sort through catalogs and chat it up with my favorite greenhouses to decide what I’ll plant as soon as the weatherman gives the thumbs up.  There are some definite tried and true plantings, as well as new varieties or colors.  Hmmm . . . Sounds like trends are alive and well in garden design, too!
