Early news out of the Spring High Point Furniture market now underway – coral, along with palette peers like melon, salmon and tangerine, are adding vibrancy and cheer to showrooms everywhere.
While Coral doesn’t always play the starring role, it often plays a supporting role as an accent in patterns combined with other more neutral and earthy colors like bark and butterscotch, as seen in this traditional and ornate fabric motif.
Just as sparkly and luminous is a sea of metallic in tones of copper, silver and gold.
Metallic is even found in unexpected places, such as on this metallic gunmetal embossed leather adorning a new Bradington-Young club chair.
While metallic has been growing in accent furniture pieces for a few seasons, there’s a surge in upholstery fabrics with threads of silver or gold, like this silver, sparkly white linen fabric on the Rory chair from Sam Moore.
The new Golden Swirl Chest from the Melange Collection takes a subtle, classic and romantic approach to metallic.
Even the floral arrangements seem to have a penchant for the coral tones. How about these lovely salmon roses?

I absolutely love these metallic fabrics shown on your furniture. The coral is very exciting too and adds nice punctuation to a room. Another great blog! Huge success to all 3 of your lines.
Stephanie, so glad you like the metallic and corals that were so prevalent in our showroom this market. Thank you for your kind comments on the blog and our line. We are so glad to count you as a regular reader. All the best from Hooker Furniture.
