The Art of Antipasti-“Before the Meal”
Much of casual Italian dining is composing simple, fresh ingredients in a beautiful way. At Ristorante Mardivino, the specialty is seafood. Shown below are two of their first courses, called antipasti. Sliced tomatoes are on a bed of shrimp with basil. Another combines tuna cooked three ways and is decorated with sprigs of rosemary.
