For a truly new start this season, go beyond spring cleaning and refresh with some new furniture in cool, pale tints. Weathered light denim blue is a big color this season, along with aqua, primrose yellow, seafoam and blush.

Sleek, curvy furniture shapes in the crisp blue and white combination above on the Carson sofa evoke the cool grace of a sailboat on a lake.

Refresh with taupe-brown, grey, cream and oyster white, and you have a look that’s tranquil, youthful and chic. These hues are versatile, so you can change up the look later with some warmer, darker accents and still keep the lighthearted air.

These perfect pales, such as this pale green on the Riley Sectional below, are already a bit weathered, so they’re easy to live with. Because the modern definition of luxurious definitely includes kids, dogs and informal entertaining!
