“This is unbelievable, I am just thrilled and so excited.” That was the reaction of Karen Eisensmith of Lake View, N.Y. when she learned that she was the winner of the Hooker Furniture Hobby Cabinet, the prize of a joint sweepstakes with Hooker and Furnitureland South. As it turns out, Karen is an avid crafter. She makes jewelry, paints and creates mosaics. She and her husband, Dan, live near Lake Erie. They enjoy walking along the shore and collecting sea glass. She makes lots of beautiful items with the sea glass she collects, including mobiles and wind chimes.

Karen even has an entire room of her house devoted to crafting, and she can’t wait for the craft furniture to transform the room. “The room Is a mess,” she said. “Supplies and tools are all over the place and I am always trying to find things. Now, with the hobby cabinet, I can have everything organized in one place. This is going to make my life so much easier!”
After learning about winning the cabinet, Karen said she was motivated to spend the day “completely cleaning out the craft room to make a place for my beautiful new furniture.”
She has already picked out a spot for the hobby cabinet against a wall, in a place where she can look out her window while she works.
“This is a dream come true!” she said.
